Indie Publishing

Independent publishing is a real path to a finished, professional book — and also a field crowded with inflated promises. This collection walks the actual process: preparing a manuscript, hiring editing and cover design, choosing distribution, setting prices, and launching without a publisher behind you. Our guidance is deliberately unglamorous. We give cost ranges instead of single magic numbers, name the tradeoffs between platforms instead of crowning winners, and never promise income. Where policies and prices change often, we say so and point you to the primary source to verify before you spend.
